Ok now, whats new? Year 12 is going well, the half yearlies are a faded dot behind me and the HSC Trials are coming up on the horizon (I'm being literal here, 'cause the horizon is a huge distance away). I'm glad with how I went in the exams, I topped Maths, supposedly, I'm topping Engineering at the moment, and I have really high hopes for Business and IPT. I won't talk about English.
I got a notebook. A HP DV51138TX. I'm ecstatic about how it runs, I've gone from Vista and now I have Windows 7 loaded on to it, and I am very pleased with how it is running, no issues even though its a beta OS. Pretty much I've just been bumming around on it all holidays, nothing much, relaxing and ignoring that stupid book they gave us in English.
My XBox 360 games collection is growing (not really, but a man can dream can't he). I have now, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, Mass Effect, and my dad's game Crash of the Titans I bought him the other day. I'm loving it, the best console ever. Though multiplayer can seem a little inconsistent at times, like in Call of Duty 4, one server of people of levels 40 and up (I'm currently only level 7) can be incredible easy to kill, I prefer using the sniper, and it can be too easy at times. However, then go up to a slightly larger server with maybe 4 or 6 more people and it becomes hell. And I'm quite sick of hearing the shrill, high pitched voices of 8 year old boys from the US when they manage to kill me.
Lucy. Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. I LOVE YOU!
Holidays have been great too. Although I've spent a fair bit of it working, which has really paid off. I went with Lucy to her cousins place for Easter, the second Easter spent with her. I have to upload something from that, she looks so cute. And we had an Easter Egg hunt, well 2 actually, and it was hilarious when the kids couldn't find the egg when it was directly in front of them. And when I say directly, I mean, they were LOOKING AT IT and didn't realise
PAINTBALL! One of the best inventions in the world. It was absolutely fricken awesome. The only regret I have about it, is not absolutely hammering into Alex when he backstabbed me in the free-for-all, and Alex, you can deny it as much as you want but I know what happened, pellets don't just appear out of nowhere, and people don't try to scare people by shooting blanks when they have turned around, it just doesn't work that way. The feeling you get when you get someone square in the face, ah, it's just hilarious to watch, but it would have been so much better if we had only been with people we know, though I made a few new acquaintances, it's the only game where if you exaggerate every single one of your movements, people just think you're awesome at it. From what I recall, I got Alex in the leg 3 times (but it would have been more), Kevin in the side and back a few times again (I swear I didn't know his gun jammed up!), I got Michael when he was behind cover, and I got at least 5 people square in the face and at least 2 people on the top of the head, and one guy twice in a row. Kevin made the mistake of shooting Kartini in the free-for-all from up close, when she had the only full auto gun, he won't do that next time. AH! I cannot get over Alex stabbing me (or rather, shooting me) in the back.
Work is also going well, not much to write here though, work is work as I always say to people who ask. Though I do think I deserve a raise. But I digress.
Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. I hope everyone is as fantastic as I am at the moment and I wish everyone care and happiness.
I love you so much Lucy. I already miss you.
You're dead at school Alex.
Jim
